What is a colonic?
A colonic is a series of warm water irrigations with filtered, temperature-controlled water that cleans out the large intestine.
How do I know if I need a colonic (i.e. signs of inefficient elimination?)
Some signs that you may need a colonic are having: a coated tongue, cold hands and feet, bad breath, back aches, depression, headaches, irritability, nervousness, fatigue, allergies, brittle hair and nails, dark circles under your eyes, bad skin, a pot belly, and many others.
Are colonics safe?
Various forms of colon cleansing have been around for thousands of years. Colonics are extremely safe in the hands of a well-trained colon therapist using FDA approved equipment and disposable tubes and speculums.
Is there anyone who shouldn’t get a colonic?
Yes. There are certain serious medical conditions for which colon hydrotherapy is contraindicated (i.e. colonics ought not to be received.) Please inform me of any medical conditions or medications being taken, before scheduling your session.
Can I still receive a colonic if I’m having my period?
Colonics are perfectly safe and often ease the discomfort of menstruation.
Is colon hydrotherapy painful?
Some people can experience discomfort due to an impacted colon. Many actually find the sessions pleasant. The experience, although variable, is usually a positive one.
Is the colonic equipment you use an open or closed system?
For those familiar with colon hydrotherapy, I use a closed system.
How many sessions are recommended?
This depends on several factors, including your age, family history, dietary and lifestyle habits, and goals. During your first session, after a thorough written and live evaluation, the client and I customize a plan that suits your needs (budget and goals.) Colon hydrotherapy is not usually a one-time treatment however.

How much does a session cost?
FIRST colonic is $170 with subsequent sessions priced at $140.
Is there any other cost besides the hourly fee?
Cleansing/detoxing herbal formulas, Probiotics (friendly flora,) and/or digestive enzymes may also be helpful to you. They are available upon need/request.
How do I prepare for a session?
Abstinence from food and most liquids two hours prior to the session is recommended.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes, safe limit for my table is approximately 300 pounds and the client must be able to insert the speculum themselves.
How long does a session last?
A typical session usually lasts about one hour.
How will I feel after the session? Are there any restrictions to activity?
The majority of people feel a joy and sense of well being, as well as a mental, physical, and emotional lightness after a colonic. The only restriction is to lighten the diet for 24 hours after the session.
